Selectors

Selectors let admins choose an item from a pop-up list instead of typing a value. The value collected is often an ID, while the list shows something more readable, such as a title or a thumbnail.

The model selector is the general version: point it at a source (assets, pages, posts or users, or your own) and choose which property to collect. The other selectors are ready-made versions for common cases.

  • Model Selector — Let users choose a model from a pop-up list, collecting one property (such as the ID or slug) and showing another.
  • Asset Selector — Pick an asset from the media library with the asset selector, a simplified model selector.
  • Image Selector — Upload an image or choose one from the asset library with the image selector.
  • Image Crop Selector — Select or upload an image, then crop it to a set aspect ratio and size.
  • Page Selector — Choose a page from a pop-up list with the page selector, a specialised model selector.
  • Tag Selector — Select and optionally create tags, submitted as an array, with optional AI tag suggestions.
  • User Selector — Choose a user from a pop-up list with the user selector.
